We visited Selam Ethiopian Restaurant on Broad Street and really enjoyed the experience. The Selam Platter was the highlight of our meal, with a great variety of flavorful dishes that were perfect for sharing. The flatbread (injera) was especially delicious, soft, and complemented the food very well. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly. A great spot to experience authentic Ethiopian food in Regina.

Stumbled upon some of their dishes years ago and have gone back sporadically introducing acquaintances who have also tasted nothing quite like it. Recently went for another meal but they happened to be out of the dishes we most enjoyed. Manager heard the news and drove out to get the missing ingredients and we had the same distinct and delicious experience we fell in love with! I highly recommend the kitfo, the gort gort, and a veggie platter for a table of four. You’ll be using your hands to pinch the food with the sour dough bread so make sure not to get full on the bread.

The food was awesome and super authentic! The staff were incredibly friendly and it was a great place to hangout and chat - no super loud music and the ladies who worked there were very diligent with our table. We also surprised them with 9 people, which is not the best, but they were friendly and moved tables for our group! 10/10
